Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Pat Williams says he plans to play “a couple more years” beyond this season. The 38-year-old Williams is the oldest defensive player in the NFL. He has spoke about contemplating retirement the last few offseasons.

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf has declined to address the job status of coach Brad Childress. Wilf spoke to the media briefly Sunday before the game against Arizona after a week of tumult has Childress facing questions about his job security. Childress cut receiver Randy Moss on Monday and several reports surfaced of clashes between the players and coach.
